    Kick-start your career in Information Technology as an IT Intern for Adventist Technology (AdTech).

    AdTech is an internal managed service provider to many of the Seventh-day Adventist Church entities across the South Pacific. It hosts and supports multiple services ranging from core business functions through to aged care and education. AdTech also drives innovation and develops customised software to support the needs of clients whilst promoting a high information security resilience.

    The Seventh-day Adventist Church (SPD) Limited is seeking a self-starter keen to learn and gain experience in the field of IT, with a focus on cyber security.

    This part-time (up to 16 hpw) 12 month internship requires a committed Seventh-day Adventist Church member who recently completed or is in the final year of a tertiary degree in IT, computer engineering or similar.

    Essential

    • Must be a practising baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment and belief in the teachings, values and mission of the Church.
    • Eligibility to hold the appropriate Seventh-day Adventist Church licence.
    • Tertiary degree, or currently in the final year of completion, in the field of information technology, computer engineer, or similar.
    • Working technical knowledge of Windows server and PC operating environment.
    • Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks within set timeframes.

    Preferred

    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s goals and objectives.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
