The Northern Australian Conference is seeking an enthusiastic and competent person to join our team to fill the role of Executive Assistant to the General Secretary. This full-time position in Townsville commencing as soon as possible. The role requires someone who is self-motivated, well organised, has a high level of computer skills, interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication. Experience in record management and membership management desirable.
Essential Criteria:
1. Must be a practicing baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission.
2. Appropriate secretarial/office administrative support qualifications or similar.
3. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in office administrative support or similar.
4. High level of computer literacy and competency with Microsoft windows environment.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to multi-task and prioritise with excellent time management skills.
7. Well-developed people skills
8. Demonstrate initiative and be self-motivated.
9. Maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.
10. Experience in report writing.
Desirable criteria:
1. Ability to prepare presentation and reports.
2. Previous office admin support experience in an Adventist employment context would be highly advantageous.
