Seventh-day Adventist Schools (NNSW) Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager – Corporate Support, for a permanent, full-time position. This role leads the Corporate Finance Team, supports school financial operations and contributes to the redesign of corporate support services.

Reporting to the General Manager – Corporate Services, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Finance Team and provide accounting advice, mentoring and support to finance staff across our schools and early learning centres.
Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, consolidated budgets and forecasts, audit coordination, compliance reporting and the development of management reports and KPI dashboards.
You will also contribute to the strategic redesign of corporate support functions, helping improve financial processes, reporting and service delivery across the Company.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Model and nurture an active relationship with Jesus and be a baptised, practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- An understanding and commitment to the purpose and ethos of Adventist Education as described by Adventist Schools Australia
- Degree-level accounting qualifications and at least five years’ full membership of a professional accounting body, such as CPA or CA.
- Strong accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and compliance.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor and support finance staff.
- Experience using accounting systems and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication, professional relationships, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- The ability to contribute to organisational change and service improvement.
- A current driver’s licence
