Adventist Senior Living (ASL) is seeking a Grounds and Handy Person to join our friendly and highly valued maintenance team at Cooranbong. You'll be part of our grounds, maintenance and garden team who are responsible for maintaining the beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding Avondale House and our Lifestyle Units.

Key Responsibilities
- Scheduled/planned maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of buildings, systems and equipment
- Ensure all equipment used is clean, tidy, well maintained and returned to its correct location
- Work an on-call roster
- Breakdown maintenance/repairs. Ensure stakeholders are informed of maintenance progress
- Routine mowing and maintaining lawns/grass and common gardens on site
- Rubbish removal and management of hazardous waste
- Assistance to other teams with movement of furniture and equipment, set up for functions, events and meetings
- Support other teams with bulky deliveries as required
Essential Criteria
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Current driver's license
- Demonstrated experience in grounds and handyman work
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to a positive workplace culture
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the following behavioural competencies:
