We're looking for a creative and strategic marketer to help grow the reach and impact of Signs of the Times and Mums At The Table—two ministries that inspire hope, encourage wellbeing and connect with people through practical, faith-informed content.
This newly created role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing campaigns, growing audiences, engaging supporters and using digital channels to tell compelling stories.
About the role
You will work across both ministries to:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that increase readership, subscriptions and audience engagement.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships within broader denominational and institutional networks to expand structural buy-in and collaborative support.
- Plan and deliver campaigns across digital, print and social media platforms.
- Coordinate donor and supporter communications, including fundraising appeals.
- Grow and nurture online communities and email audiences.
- Analyse marketing performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with editorial and design teams to promote magazines, mobile apps, resources and special campaigns.
- Help strengthen the profile and impact of both brands
Key Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Marketing Strategy and Campaigns: Develop and implement marketing strategies that grow the reach, readership, subscriptions and audience engagement of Signs of the Times, Mums At The Table and other CNE ministry resources.
- Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across the Church and with external organisations to strengthen collaboration, increase support and expand the reach of CNE initiatives.
- Audience and Donor Engagement: Coordinate marketing communications that strengthen relationships with readers, supporters and donors, including fundraising appeals, email communications and online communities.
- Marketing Performance: Monitor and evaluate marketing performance, audience insights and campaign outcomes, and recommend improvements to maximise effectiveness.
- Collaborative Working Relationships: Work collaboratively with editorial, design and other internal teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives that support departmental objectives and organisational priorities.
- Brand Promotion: Strengthen the profile and impact of Signs of the Times, Mums At The Table and other CNE ministry resources through consistent and effective marketing.
The incumbent may also be required to undertake other duties within the scope, skills and classification of the position, as reasonably directed.
Essential Criteria
About you
You'll be a creative communicator with strong marketing skills and a passion for connecting with people.
You'll ideally have:
- Qualifications or experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience with social media, email marketing and digital content creation.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- An understanding of audience engagement, subscriptions or donor communications.
- Experience using CRM systems and marketing analytics would be an advantage.

Desirable Criteria
- Experience within a not-for-profit, Christian or faith-based organisation.
- Experience with email marketing, CRM systems and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of fundraising or donor communications.
- Graphic design or digital content creation skills.
